We’re an online English learning platform created by former ESL teachers who’ve spent years teaching online themselves. We know what works, what doesn’t, and what teachers actually want from a platform.
After teaching on large ESL marketplaces, we chose to build something different — a place where strong student results and teacher wellbeing can genuinely coexist, without cutting corners on quality, structure, or long-term sustainability.
We work mainly with families across Europe and teach children and teens aged 3 to 17 through engaging, interactive 25-minute online lessons. Our curriculum is fully provided, structured, and level-based, so you don’t need to plan lessons from scratch. We partner with Abridge Academy for the curriculum.Your time and energy go where they belong: teaching, connecting, and helping students grow.
Our model is simple: shared risk, shared benefit. We invest in student acquisition, curriculum, and ongoing support. In return, teachers commit to professionalism, reliability, and availability during peak hours. This balance allows us to create stable schedules, trusting relationships, and long-term student–teacher continuity.
We value our teachers and pay fairly above market rates — double the rate of Cambly. Teachers earn $0.50 USD per minute, minus a 30% platform commission, which works out to approximately $20 USD per hour net. Payment and transaction fees apply and typically range between 4% and 6%, depending on your payout method.
Lessons are ~25 minutes long and taught one-on-one or in small group classes. A complete curriculum is provided, meaning no lesson preparation is required. Teachers are free to bring in their own materials when they feel it’s beneficial, or support students with school homework. We trust our teachers to teach independently and make sound pedagogical decisions.
Our students are children and teenagers aged 3 to 17, with most families based in Europe.
Peak demand is after school in Europe — between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm UTC — as well as on weekends. Teachers are expected to be available for at least 10 to 15 hours per week. Priority is given to teachers who regularly open slots during peak hours.
Rather than teaching endless one-off lessons, teachers are assigned regular students. This allows for real progress, stronger relationships, and predictable schedules. Trial lessons are distributed fairly using a round-robin system based on availability. Lesson packages are teacher-locked: once you convert a student, they remain with you unless a parent specifically requests otherwise.
We are currently welcoming qualified ESL teachers from the UK, Ireland, and Canada. Teachers from Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa may also be eligible.
Applicants must hold a recognised ESL certification such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
You should have solid experience teaching online and feel comfortable teaching children across different age groups. Teachers are expected to follow the provided curriculum overall, maintain a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere, and communicate professionally with students and parents.
A reliable internet connection, punctuality, and consistency are essential.
As part of our shared-risk approach, all new teachers start with a one-month probation period during which the pay rate is reduced by 20%. While we fully support new teachers, we are also contractually responsible to parents to deliver consistently high-quality lessons.
Once expectations are met consistently — including punctuality, peak-hour availability, and the absence of parent or student complaints — the full pay rate is applied.
Because we offer free trials to families, trial lessons are unpaid under our shared-risk model.
However, when a student purchases a package after a trial, the teacher receives 1.5× the normal lesson rate for that trial lesson and is assigned the student going forward. This ensures that the time invested in trial lessons is fairly rewarded on a shared-benefit basis.
Teacher payments are processed monthly.
Funds are typically received within 7 to 14 days after the end of each month. Payments are made via PayPal, Payoneer, or bank transfer, depending on your preference. Any payment or transaction fees are handled by the payout provider.
Teachers are required to submit written feedback after each lesson whenever applicable (homework-only assistance is excluded).
Feedback must be completed within 24 hours. Lessons without completed feedback may not be counted for payment. Feedback plays a crucial role in tracking student progress and maintaining teaching quality.
We understand that this requirement can feel demanding. However, progress tracking and feedback are contractual commitments we have toward parents. Missing feedback exposes the platform to disputes, which we must actively avoid.
Reliability matters, both to our families and to the teachers who work hard to build stable schedules.
Lesson cancellations are not permitted within 12 hours of the scheduled class, except in unavoidable circumstances (proof is required). Cancellations within 24 hours may result in penalties. Repeated lateness, missed lessons, or last-minute cancellations may lead to penalties, account review, or removal from the platform.
These guidelines protect trust with families and ensure a professional, respectful learning environment. Teachers are contractually expected to meet the commitments we make to parents, including punctual attendance.
This platform was built by former ESL teachers who understand the realities of online teaching. Whenever possible, we aim to address issues on a case-by-case basis, with fairness and common sense.
Our goal is to create a transparent, respectful environment where teachers feel valued, students receive high-quality instruction, and long-term collaboration is encouraged.
If you love teaching children, value consistency and professionalism, and want to work with a platform that genuinely understands teachers, we’d be happy to review your application.

Teachers work as independent contractors. You control your schedule and availability, and you are responsible for your own taxes according to your local regulations.
A minimum of 10-15 hours availability is required. There is no maximum requirement. You decide how many hours you want to teach each week based on your availability.

Lessons are conducted online using video conferencing tools such as Zoom or Google Meet, along with our internal learning materials and lesson guides.
Yes. Teachers receive onboarding guidance on how to use the platform, follow the curriculum, manage bookings, and deliver engaging online lessons.
After probation period, you can close your schedule at any time for vacations, personal reasons, or busy periods, then reopen it whenever you’re ready. Within probation period schedule changes are done only upon request to admin.
Teachers may receive reviews and ratings from parents and students. Feedback helps maintain quality and supports professional growth.
